A1 Spanish activity about telling the time for beginners’ classes

This sequence of activities serves to practice times, revise the alphabet, and recall the names of some cities in Spanish for A1 Spanish beginners.

In the first Spanish activity about times, we present some images that represent cities around the world, and the goal is to revise the letters relating that image to a city, to fill in the blanks.

In the second activity for practicing the time, we use global time zones as references and ask the students to write the time in different cities around the world, by working out the difference from the given Spanish cities.

Finally, in the third activity about telling the time, we want to practice the ‘estar + gerund’ structure and some of the phrases that accompany this structure. These phrases are: en este momento, ahora, justo ahora, and ahora mismo.
