Spanish housing vocabulary B2 exercise
This sequence of Spanish activities serves as practice to work with vocabulary surrounding housing with students at B2 level.
In the first activity we present vocabulary related to types of housing. The aim is that students relate the images with their corresponding term, among them are tipi, cabaña, choza, palafito, rascacielos, chabola and castillo.
In the second exercise we want to practice some comparative B2 level structures by comparing the different types of housing. These structures take the form of más/menos + adjetivo + (que), el/la/los/las (+ nombre) + más/menos + adjetivo (+ de), más/menos + adjetivo + de lo que + oración, igual de + adjetivo (+ que).
In the third and fourth activity, we encourage work in pairs and oral expression, and we ask that the students prepare a presentation in the form of an advert for the ideal types of housing for certain people and situations.
Lastly, we work with some expressions that contain the word ‘casa’.
