A1 level ELE exercises on the vocabulary of the city in Spanish

This sequence of Spanish vocabulary activities regarding the city, serves as practice for the ELE A1 class.

In the first exercise in this sequence of ELE activities, we will present some images related to the vocabulary of the city that the students must find in a word search starting with the first word that is given to them. The vocabulary of the city that we offer them in this first Spanish exercise is: semáforo, farola, banco, fuente, edificio, contenedor, señal, acera, buzón and cartel.

In the second activity with A1 vocabulary, students must relate a series of verbs with words or structures that can go with them. The verbs in this ELE exercise regarding the city are estar, haber, ser and tener. The words and structures to which students must join them up are: ruidosa, tiendas, ambiente, segura, sucia, mucha gente, contaminada, bien comunicada, mucho tráfico, zonas peatonales, cosmopolita, parques and enorme.

In the third exercise with Spanish vocabulary regarding the city, we show a photo of a city Street and propose a series of questions with which the students can practice oral expression at the A1 level.

Lastly, we present a series of question to put into practice the vocabulary about the city learned earlier in this ELE class.
