Regular and irregular present indicative tense exercise

This A1 level activity is for beginners to practice regular and irregular present indicative tensethrough short definitions of important inventions from history.

In this ELE exercise, we present short incomplete definitions of 19 inventions missing a conjugated present indicative verb, the infinitive form of the verb is given next to each definition.

We have also related the image of an invention with each definition, but the images do not correspond to the definitions they are next to.

The goal is that students correctly fill in the blanks with the conjugated verbs in the present indicativeand then join them to the correct picture and write the name of the invention next to its definition.
