Negative causal ELE B1 activity with ‘no es que’ + subjuntivo

This B1 level ELE activity serves as practice for causal negative phrases with the structure ‘no es que + subjuntivo’.

For this ELE exercise, we have chosen trios of fruits, people, food, places, animals etc, and the students should decide which of the three they will choose and the reason for doing so as well as the reason for discarding the other two by using the causal negative structure ‘no es que + subjuntivo’ or ‘no porque + subjuntivo’.

The goal of this Spanish B1 activity is for students to practice naturally this causal negative structure by justifying their selection from the aforementioned trios.
