Activity about the irregular present tense at A2 level

This sequence of Spanish activities helps to practice the irregular present tense in an A2 class.

In the first exercise, we propose a series of infinitives, which are irregular in the present tense to match them to a series of images. We have chosen verbs with different types of irregularities, such as the following: acertar, merecer, manifestar, restregar, temblar, perseguir, verter, lucir, sobrevolar, cocer, remover, apretar, colgar, competir, tender, derretir, caer, arrepentirse, soñar y construir.

In the second Spanish activity for A2 about the irregular present, students have to classify the infinitives from the first activity according to their type of irregularity.

In the final exercise about irregular present tense verbs, we propose a series of questions to stimulate oral discussion. In these questions, students have to conjugate the different irregular verbs proposed and exchange answers with their partners.
