To practice the indirect style in Spanish at B2 level
This activity, in the form of a table, serves as practice for the indirect style through some phrases and statements from notable women in the Hispanic world.
This exercise on the indirect style in Spanish offers 18 phrases from women that are famous in the Spanish-speaking world. Among them are Penélope Cruz, Chavela Vargas, Celia Cruz, Policarpa Salavarrieta, Eva Duarte de Perón and Rigoberta Menchú.
The aim of this activity is that the students modify the phrases from the direct style into the indirect style.
As a warm up activity, and also to incorporate a cultural component, we can ask the students to find information about the women and make a short presentation.
