Direct and indirect object pronouns ELE activity

This ELE activity is a game to to help practice with the use of direct and indirect object pronouns.

In this Spanish exercise we have created 4 categories of cards with 15 cards in each category. The categories of cards are: orange are subjects, yellow are verbs, blue are direct object and pink are indirect object pronouns.

To make this game more dynamic and fun, we will mix up all the cards and make decks according to colour.

The students take one card from each pile with the goal of making phrases with a subject and a verb and converting the direct and indiret objects into pronouns.

When the students are pairing the cards, if their phrases don’t make sense, the students should return them to the pile and take new cards until they can make logical phrases.
