Spanish activity about estar + gerund in the imperfect and past tense

This A2 level activity helps to practice the expression ´estar + gerund´ in the past and imperfect tense with Spanish students. The contrast sequence with the past and imperfect tenses with estar + gerund is composed of three exercises, which we will use to work on this contrast across the through a fictional celebrity´s schedule.

In the first Spanish exercise, we will introduce several hours and activities and the students should use the expression estar + gerund with the imperfect or past tense.

In the second A2 level Spanish activity, students have once again choose between the past and imperfect tense with estar + gerund and convert the images into actions.

Finally, we will introduce fictitious characters, each with a certain profession, and the students have to say what they were doing or what they did at that time.
