A1 Spanish synonyms and antonyms game

This Spanish activity is a game to learn and practice synonyms and antonyms through cards in Spanish A1 beginners’ classes.

For this game, we have chosen 15 cards with key words and images about which we have to find their synonyms and antonyms. These words are: nublado, saber, eliminar, idéntico, chillar, reducir, mentira, hablar, piropo, verano, mojado, caro, feliz, acabar and loco.

On the other cards of this activity of Spanish synonyms and antonyms, of which there are sixty, there are only words, so there are 30 of synonyms and antonyms to the cards with images on. The rest of synonyms and antonyms of each other.

PThis synonyms and antonyms game can be played in teams or individually depending on the class size, by distributing the cards with images on.

Put the rest of the Spanish synonyms and antonyms cards in a pile and students are going to take them; if the card they select is a synonym or antonym of the key word card, they keep it, and if not it goes back in the pile, so that eventually every will find two words that correspond with their image.

For the final activity of this synonyms and antonyms vocabulary game, write all the words on the board and match their synonyms and antonyms.
