5 Reasons to Study at AIL Malaga Spanish Language School
At AIL Malaga we offer a wide variety of Spanish language courses for students from all around the world. With a primary aim to ensure learning is undertaken using an array of interesting and engaging practical activities, while being able to truly immerse into the local city and culture.
Don’t delay! We’d love to have you join the #AILFamily

1 – Two Fantastic Locations in the City
Our Spanish Language School is located in the city of Malaga on the famous Costa del Sol in southern Spain. While we have two premises, our primary location is on the beach front of the “Playa de Misericordia”, and our second site is located in the nearby neighbourhood of Vistafranca, on the west of the city.
Our main school site is on the beach front of the “Playa de Misericordia” – so you can literally open the door and breathe in the fresh sea air! It’s a perfect way to relax and take in the sun after classes. You’ll find lots of chiringuitos and heladerías to stop off for some tapas, drinks and ice cream.
Our second location is in the Vistafranca “barrio” (neighbourhood) in west Malaga. This area is populated with lots of little shops, fruit markets and cafés. The lifestyle here is an accurate representation of how Spanish people actually live – you’ll find many of the locals going about their day-to-day lives. Experiencing Malaga as a local rather than as a tourist will really help you immerse yourself in the culture much more effectively and genuinely.
Both our language schools are optimally located to move about the city, so you can easily hop on a bus, or metro, to explore Malaga even further!
2 – Intimate Group Classes
We have a strict limit of only 8 students per class to ensure that each person receives personalised attention and can learn more effectively. On average, there are just 4 students per Spanish class, so you can really make the most of the classes.
For anybody who would like an even more intensive experience, we offer combined options such as our ‘Super Intensive Course‘ and ‘20+5 Combined Course‘ which allow the student to add either 10 or 5 private lessons respectively per week. These allow the opportunity for one-to-one time with a Spanish teacher to revise whatever the student would like.

3 – Friendly Team & Native Teachers
Our Student Care team work in the school and are there to help students with whatever they may need. They speak a variety of languages, such as English, Spanish, French and more, providing multilingual support and making sure you have a fun, exciting and unforgettable experience.
Our teachers are all native Spanish speakers, so you can be sure that you are learning Spanish correctly and accurately. They are all passionate about sharing their language and culture with people, and are qualified in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, so you can ask them whatever you need to know and they’ll be able to answer confidently!
4 – Social & Cultural Activities
To make the most of your time in Spain, we host a wide variety of optional cultural and social activities! These are great not only for getting to know your fellow students better, but for getting to experience the Spanish culture and customs in real life! Choose from nights out in Malaga’s vibrant centre, tours of important and historical monuments, sampling traditional tapas and much more!
Our partner agency also hosts excursions to other places of interest within Malaga, such as Seville, Granada and Córdoba. These are very popular as they give students the opportunity to see even more of the traditional Andalusian culture and its stunning architecture. So, it’s safe to say there’s something here to do for everyone!

5 – Accommodation Sorted!
One of the most effective parts of our immersion programmes is the option to stay with a Spanish host family. This gives the student the opportunity to practice communicating Spanish in a real-life context and to get comfortable with speaking the language. Living and having dinner with real Spanish people also allows you to try out what you’ve learnt in classes that day!
There’s also the option to stay in a shared flat with other students like you, who have an interest in learning Spanish and experiencing the culture abroad.
So that’s it! How about you come and see for yourself why we’re one of the best Spanish language schools for immersion and intensive courses? Contact us now to enquire about your Spanish adventure.
